amNY  reports that all concrete workers at the World Trade Center construction site will be back on the job today, without a new contract.

An 80-year old, New York schoolteacher claims she was fired because of age discrimination.

Members of the Communication Workers of America plan to picket the Verizon office in Dewitt, NY as their contract ends today.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is launching an investigation for potential fraud at non-profit agencies.

Nearly 3,000 state employees in Connecticut have been laid off after budget cuts.
