New York, NY – Congress will be voting on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. This is the biggest and worst trade deal in the history of the USA. We need to make sure the TPP is not approved by Congress in its present form.

When this Fast Track fight began, it was expected to easily pass both houses of congress.  But organized labor stopped its fast track momentum. Union members  met with legislators, sent thousands of emails to political leaders, called legislative offices, used social media and turned out for events. Through intense political action we slowed down the passage of TPP almost to a halt.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a bad trade deal.  One that will put Americans out of work and ship jobs overseas. We need to continue the momentum that's aimed at stopping or changing Fast Track. Our Congressional legislators need to hear us load and clear – protect american jobs.
