Long Beach, LI – On February 11th, I rolled out my first step to finally ending the scourge of corruption that has plagued Albany: banning unlimited outside income for New York State lawmakers. I pledge that on my first day in the State Senate, I will submit and sign on to legislation that does just that. Because the era of serving one's personal interests over the people must end.

Unlimited and unregulated outside income has been the source of no fewer than seven Albany corruption cases. Our next Senator must be above board and must stand for honest public service, always. In my career as a public servant, I have never taken a dime of outside income because I serve the people, and only the people. But, unfortunately, that's not the case for many in Albany. And it is why we must eliminate the temptation to use one's elected office to enrich themselves.

I hope you'll stand with me and join my call to end corruption in Albany and ban unlimited outside income. Please go to to sign up for my campaign.
