Patchogue, NY - On Saturday May 6th, Striking beer delivery drivers on Long Island rallied outside Blue Point Brewery, calling on the brewers' distributor to end labor abuses. Clare Rose, whose workers are on strike over wage and pension cuts, is the sole distributor of Blue Point products on Long Island.

Salem, Oregon - Oregon’s largest private sector union has just completed its biggest-ever organizing campaign. United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 555, which reported 20,140 members as of September, is in the process of adding 4,400 new members.

Washington, DC - An ongoing strike followed Long Island beer distributor Clare Rose to the nation’s capital today. The Teamsters Union protested outside of the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s Legislative Conference, handing out fliers and waving signs reading, “Clare Rose Destroys Jobs, Hurts Families.”
