Los Angeles, CA - After late-night talks May 1, the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers agreed on a tentative three-year contract just before the union’s strike deadline.

New York, NY - Playwright Robert Anderson famously once said, “You can make a killing in the theater, but not a living.” Drama Desk President Charles Wright, however, says that while that observation may still hold true — today’s theatrical industry is “hopping.”
