The show with Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf is an adoption of the Stephen King book and written as a play by William Goldman. .   Mr. Willis plays Paul Sheldon who was badly injured in an accident and he spends the entire show in bed or a wheelchair.Ms. Metcalf plays Annie Wilkes who holds Paul Shelton hostage and is the “greatest fan” of the author character played by Bruce Willis.

Ms. Metcalf outshines Mr. Willis as the brutal captor. She is outstanding as a psychotic caretaker who rescues the author Paul Sheldon.  The play has many twists and turns and is an emotional roller-coaster ride.  If there is one feature which is memorial is Laurie Metcalf’s outstanding performance.
