New York, NY – Cagney the Musical follows the career of the venerable star, James Cagney, from his song and dance days in vaudeville to his academy award winning portrayal of George M Cohan in Yankee Doodle Dandy. On Utube you can see a marvelous tap dance routine with Bob Hope who plays Eddie Foy.

The rousing musical is full of song and tap dance which will excite audiences of all ages. Robert Creighton who plays Cagney also wrote original music and lyrics along with Christopher McGovern and are adeptly director by Bill Costellino.

James Cagney could do it all; act, dance, sing and be the tough guy who portrays gangsters and sometimes with a tough guy with a  heart. Robert Creighton does an excellent job as Cagney.
