The Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 100 has announced their support for Rodneyse Bichotte. Bichotte is running for Brooklyn’s 42nd Assembly District, which covers Flatbush, Midwood, and Ditmas Park.
TWU Local 100 President John Samuelsen said, “On behalf of the TWU Local 100 membership, I am proud to announce our union’s support of Rodneyse Bichotte. Rodneyse is an outstanding candidate who possesses progressive leadership skills, a wealth of experiences, and the balanced knowledge needed to serve our working-class communities in the State Legislature. Most importantly, she is dedicated to restoring transit cuts, fighting the fare hikes, and bringing about critical infrastructure and service improvements in our transit system.”
“We’re looking for candidates who will not only support our issues, but who will champion the issues of public transit and workers’ rights in Albany,” commented TWU Local 100 Secretary-Treasurer Earl Phillips.
“I am very pleased to receive the endorsement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU),” said Rodneyse Bichotte. “The efficient and safe transportation of millions of New Yorkers and visitors is an essential element in sustaining our local and State economy.”
