Rochester, NY – Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) Local 828/Unit 7400, the largest Union providing public services for Monroe County residents, has reached a Tentative Contract Agreement with Monroe County, the CSEA Western Region has announced.
Approximately 1,650 County Workers were notified by e-mail on Thursday (February 2nd). The CSEA Contract Action Team will be mailing details of the contract proposals to the entire membership at the end of this week.
A tentative timeline has been established to hold informational site meetings to answer questions and concerns followed by a mail-in ballot vote that is slated to begin February 14th, CSEA Officials said, and all ballots must be postmarked no later than March 1st, 2017.
Votes will be tallied on March 9th at the CSEA Rochester Satellite Office at Winton Place.
If the contract is ratified by CSEA Membership, final approval of the Collective Bargaining Agreement would be voted on by the Monroe County Legislature.
