[UAW Local 833 President Tim Tayloe]: "If we can hack a Packer game with tailgatin' we can hack this out as long as we have to, right? Just like deer huntin' man, go to damn deer camp!"UAW Local 833 President Tim Tayoe at a rally of striking Kohler workers in Sheboygan Wisconsin.

The strikers met Monday for what the union called an update on the Kohler contract. The workers have been on strike since November 15th. One of the issues is the two -tier wage system that has some Kohler workers making as little as $11.50 an hour. At one of the rallies supporting the Kohler strikers Randy Bryce of Ironworkers Local 8 explained why this stirke needs support.

[Randy Bryce]: "The reason I'm here is because I saw that 94 percent of a 2000-strong union decided to go on strike. And there's too many attacks goin' on on workers right now, not just in Wisconsin but across the country. And anytime that you see a number this big of organized labor stand up, if we don't support it, it's going to go away. So it's great to see people stand up against the two-tier system, which is just horrible. And there wasn't any second thought about comin' up here and help support the UAW Local 833."
[Kohler Strike Rally Sound]: "…through the snow in a one horse open sleigh, over the fields we go, laughing all the way! Bells on bobtail ring, making spirits bright…We are – Union!" To hear the audio click the following link labor
