Queens, NY – The Queens Plaza Park development site has been acquired by The Durst Organization. This project is landmark as it will boast the development of the largest skyscaper in Queens, 1 million-square-foot, 1,000-unit residential tower.
The project will include a half-acre public park, and a renovated entrance to the Queens Plaza subway station. The Durst Organization also purchased the Clock Tower building as part of this initiative.
“The project provides us with the opportunity to build much needed market-rate and affordable housing and to make long-term investments in New York City that have been the bedrock of The Durst Organization’s success for more than 100 years,” said Durst Organization President Jonathan Durst.
