Donald Trump’s Business a Criminal Enterprise

January 29, 2019

By Anibal Romero

Washington, DC – The following is a statement from Anibal Romero, the attorney for multiple undocumented former employees of Trump’s Westchester and Bedminster Golf Courses.

To paraphrase then candidate Donald Trump: investigators, if you are listening, please investigate the criminal activities of Donald Trump and his properties.

The recent Washington Post story is devastating to anyone who cares about the rule of law and basic human decency. Donald Trump, his people and his companies have been abusing the law through coercion, procurement of false documents and, in some cases, physical abuse. The Trump operation is a criminal enterprise that knowingly broke the law. The workers have done nothing wrong but work hard while the club can break the law with impunity. This must stop, America must pay attention, and the proper authorities must investigate.

Over a month ago, a similar article published in the New York Times revealed many of the same crimes; the Postexposé takes it a step further. Taken together, we see a hypocrite in chief who shutdown the government over undocumented immigrants, when the fact is that he has lured his own private caravan of undocumented workers to Bedminster, Westchester and probably every other club he owns.

Wake up America. It is time to rally around the brave women and men who have come forward out of the shadows and have stood up to the most powerful man on earth – at great personal risk to themselves and their families.
