Rochester, NY – Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA)-represented Monroe County Sheriff’s Command Staff Employees have reached a tentative contract agreement with county negotiators, the CSEA has announced.
Details of the agreement that covers 31 Uniformed Supervisory Employees will not be released by CSEA until all Bargaining Unit Employees have reviewed specifics of the proposals, Union Officials said this week. Results of the mail ballot vote are anticipated to be released on October 28th. During this time frame, CSEA will not make any public statements regarding this matter.
CSEA – New York State’s leading Union – represents a variety of Public Employees across New York State in its counties, towns, villages, school districts, library systems, authorities and public corporations. Together, with a growing population of Private Sector Members and retirees, CSEA forms a Statewide Union that is 300,000 strong. It is also the largest affiliate (Local 1000) of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) which, in turn, is one of the largest affiliates of the National AFL-CIO.
